Greece (Greek: ÎÎ»Î»Î¬Î´Î±, EllÃ¡da), officially the Hellenic Republic (ÎÎ»Î»Î·Î½Î¹ÎºÎ® ÎÎ·Î¼Î¿ÎºÏÎ±ÏÎ¯Î±, EllÄ«nikÃ® DÄ«mokratÃa[9]), is a country in Southeast Europe.[10]Athens is the country's capital and largest city (its urban area also including the municipality of Piraeus). According to the preliminary 2011 census data, Greece's population is about 11 million.
